A suite of five miniatures inspired by the classic characters from the Italian Commedia dell'arte tradition: Harlequin, Columbina, Scaramouche, Pulcinella and Pierrot. Each piece is scored for a different instrumentation—details can be found on this page under the individual titles. The pieces can be performed separately or together as a suite lasting about 30 minutes.
