On Monday, April 19, Dr. Evan Rapport, a professor at Eugene Lang College and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, delivered a riveting lecture on John Zorn’s holocaust memorial, Kristallnacht, as a piece of radical Jewish literature. The lecture was part of the series on Jewish Texts by the Jewish Studies department at Eugene Lang College. Dr. Rapport discusses how the sonic and aesthetic elements of this musical suite build upon a legacy of radical Jewish artists and composers coming to terms with the traumatic events of the holocaust.

Toute une partie de l'expo "Radical Jewish Culture" est consacrée au concert et au CD kristallnacht.
Bel expo d'ailleurs.
